The Sidewalk Company was founded by two young entrepreneurs who wanted to take control of their lives, rather than rejoining the rat race and grinding out an 8:00-6:00 for the next 35 years while only enjoying 10 paid vacation days a year. We don’t want to dread Mondays. Have you ever been a kid? If you have, then I hope you read the book Where The Sidewalk Ends, by Shel Silverstein. When the idea to start this business came along, we were at a crossroads.
